Arthur Scargill, General Secretary of the Socialist Labour Party, said today that Britain’s Prime Minister Tony Blair and the United States President Bill Clinton are guilty of `cold, calculated murder’ with their unprincipled attack on the people of Iraq.
“There is no justification for what this New Labour Government is doing as it continues to bomb Iraqi children and adults”, he said.
“Both Blair and Clinton should be facing an international court of justice, charged with war crimes as a result of their actions.
“All people who share our revulsion should protest as individuals and through all the organisations to which they belong against an act of barbarism which can only be described as a crime against humanity”.
