Condemn Attempt to Ban KSM in Czech Republic

The Czech Home Office is threatening to make the KSM (Communist Union of Youth) illegal by 31 December 2005. The attack against the KSM is an attack against the whole communist movement in the Czech Republic, and therefore against the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (one of the strongest parliamentary political parties in the Republic), which state power has not so far dared to attack directly.

All progressives should condemn this attempt to criminalise the communist movement.

Express your solidarity by writing to the KSM ( and send protests to the Home Office, Ministerstvo vnitra, oddeleni volebni a sdruzovani, namesti Hrdinu 3, 140 21 Praha 4, Czech Republic.
